What's an API call? Polling capacity, not results. The radar tracks hundreds of trends and re-measures its signals daily; news refreshes every few minutes, feeds through the day. Even Free's 100 calls poll every endpoint several times a day — pick your plan by intelligence runs, alerts and how often your automations need fresh reads, not by raw call count.
